Freshwater pearl, turquoise, carnelian, peach agate, moonstone, sterling, copper and gun metal. Like wearing a tropical beach around your collar bone...
My name is Italia and I've been designing jewelry for 15 years. Trained in large part, by Nina Segal (the fantastic jewelry designer and daughter of Fred Segal) I found my calling in metal-work.
I've designed jewelry for film, fashion shoots and many clients who like to have pieces custom made. I also occasionally carry a line at the high-end boutique- Surly Girl, on Robertson Blvd, in Los Angeles.
All my jewelry is hand-made, with great care. I have a passion for large medallions and large chest conglomerations. I sway toward semi-precious stones, but sometimes will throw in some vintage glass. I enjoy working with sterling and all base metals. Sometimes I incorporate 14 and 18k gold, but like to keep price points down by using look-alike metals.
